This week Seattle and Luxembourg raised money for our elderly. Thank you very much for your support! They raised money for us for half a month of existence!
It is amazing that thanks to such support we have been working for almost three years. You never know what you will pay your salary with next month, or what money you will need to buy dog ​​food, but ordinary people, businessmen, volunteers, even military personnel appear and life is getting better, thank you and happy holidays!

 

На цьому тижні Сіетл і Люксембург збирали гроші для наших стареньких. Дякуємо дуже за підтримку! Назбирали грошей нам на пів-місяця існування!
Вражає,що завдяки такій підтримці ми працюємо майже три роки. Ніколи не знаєш чим в наступному місяці платитимеш зарплатню, або на які гроші купувати собачі корми, але з‘являються звичайні люди , бізнесмени, волонтери навіть військові і життя налагоджується, дякуємо і вітаємо зі святами!

Вчора співав Джесс- волонтер з Шотландії , сьогодні - справжній ляльковий театр до нас приїхав.
Особливо раділа Світлана з Оскільського району, бо ніколи такого не бачила.

Thanks to the electric elevator, all residents from the second floor could go down to the terrace and sing Ukrainian songs. Gertruda - a volunteer from Sweden, was very surprised by the fact that the old people speak Russian and sing only in Ukrainian. Because their rural childhood passed without Russian influence.
Everything was very reminiscent of a wedding. Here are the photos. Our new dog Bucks dances to the accordion, Yura and Maria each have one active hand and help each other eat grapes and pour lemonade.
Shura from Vovchansk district, at first she cried a lot, and then she not only sang, but also conducted our "Big Family" choir.
Even Galya took a little time off from the morning trip to the graves of her two fallen sons and her husband.

Дякувати електричному підйомнику всі мешканці з другого поверху могли спуститись на терасу та поспівати українських пісень. Гертруда - волонтер зі Швеції, дуже дивувалася з того, що старі розмовляють російською, а співають тільки українською. Бо сільське дитинство їх пройшло без росіянського впливу.
Все дуже нагадувало весілля . Ось на фотках .Наш новий собака Бакс танцює під акордеон, Юра і Марія мають по одній діючій руці і допомагають один одному їсти виноград і наливати лимонад.
Шура з Вовчанського рну, спочатку дуже плакала, а потім не просто співала, а й диригувала нашим хором «Велика родина».
Навіть Галя трохи відійшла від ранішньої поїздки до могил полеглих двох синів і чоловіка.

Exactly 2.5 years have passed since those terrible times, when in Kharkiv, during the mass evacuation, the old and infirm were left without care and help.
Now the "Big Family" has more and more people from border towns and villages, because we took care of Kharkiv residents until normal life was established in the city - the return of relatives, social workers, opening of shops and pharmacies. Our phone number is in the working chat rooms of the social service, the emergency hospital and the service that accommodates displaced persons.
In the shelter's archive is correspondence with the city and regional councils, which we show to all foreign and Ukrainian journalists.
Do you know what they write there at our request? That everything is fine in the state and there is no need for our shelter!
This is acrobatics of cynicism!
But still there are good people! For example in Switzerland.
That week we received a SUPER POWER lift, which completely changes the lives of our residents.
Now they will not be tied to the first floor, we will be able to place people in wheelchairs without restrictions. And it is "JUST BEAUTIFUL!"

З тих страшних часів, коли в Харкові, під час масової евакуації, залишились старі і немічні, зовсім без догляду і допомоги, пройшло рівно 2.5 роки.
Зараз у «Великій родині» все більше людей з прикордонних міст і сіл, бо харків‘янами ми опікувались до встановлення нормального життя в місті - повернення рідних, соціальних робітників, відкриття магазинів і аптек. Наш телефон у робочих чатах соціальноїслужби, лікарні швидкої допомоги і служби, яка розміщує переселенців.
В архіві прихистку листування з міською і обласною радою, яке ми демонструэмо усім іноземним і українським журналістам.
Знаєте, що там пишуть на наші прохання? Що в державі все добре і в нашому притулку немає потреби!
Оце вищий пілотаж цинізму !
Але все ж є добрі люди ! До прикладу в Швейцарії.
На тому тижні ми отримали SUPER POWER - підйомник , який повністю змінює життя наших мешканців .
Тепер вони не будуть прив‘язані до першого поверху , ми зможемо людей на візках розміщувати без обмежень. І це «ПРОСТО КРАСІВО!»
